Stronger perceived contrast without requiring a completely dark room.
CinemaContrast is designed for spaces where indoor lighting, daylight or reflected room light cannot always be fully eliminated. Its dark-gray coated surface helps reduce the visible impact of surrounding light, allowing movies, sports, presentations and everyday content to retain better image separation and a more stable visual appearance than a conventional white screen under the same moderate-light conditions. With standard sizes from 100 to 200 inches and custom configurations up to 250 inches, it supports both residential and professional large-format installations.

GTCC SERIES
Dark-Gray Surface for Better Perceived Contrast
Designed to reduce the visible impact of surrounding light.
GTCC uses a PVC substrate finished with a specialized dark-gray ambient-light-reducing coating. The coating absorbs part of the ambient light, indoor illumination and reflected room light reaching the screen surface, helping the projected image maintain better perceived contrast and reducing the washed-out appearance that can occur in spaces with moderate lighting. The 0.8 nominal gain balances image brightness, contrast and room-light tolerance, while the 160° viewing angle supports broad seating arrangements. Projector brightness, screen size, throw distance and room conditions should be considered together when specifying the system.

Choose GTCC for Moderately Lit Cinema Rooms
Contrast-oriented cinema performance for rooms with moderate ambient light.
CinemaContrast is intended for viewers who want a cinematic large image but cannot always eliminate surrounding light. Its dark-gray optical surface helps preserve perceived black level and image separation in mixed-use rooms. It should not be described as universally superior to a white screen: in a properly darkened theater, CinemaPure can provide a more neutral reference image. Select CinemaContrast when practical room use and moderate light tolerance matter; select CinemaPure when controlled lighting and natural white-surface reproduction are the priorities.
